When my husband, David, first approached me about this company, I instantly said no. He’d been involved in several multi-level marketing companies and I didn’t like any of them. We were putting money out and getting nothing back. I wasn’t about to start up a new one. David assured me that it wasn’t multi-level marketing and that it was different than anything else he’d ever seen. I only let him sign up because he agreed to cancel his other multi-level marketing businesses that required monthly fees.
I wasn’t very excited about having to buy products each month from this company. I was convinced that they wouldn’t be any good and that they’d be super expensive and a waste of money. So, when the first shipment arrived, I wasn’t very excited or interested. I don’t even remember what was in the first shipment and I don’t think I really used any of the products. For the next several months, David made the order on his own. I started to pay more attention to the products and could tell that he was ordering things that he thought I would like. He bought me body wash and scented lotion, lip balm, and even chocolate chip cookies. I started using the things he got for me and was surprised to find that I really liked them. The quality was good, my skin felt great and I loved how everything smelled.
I started being more involved in the ordering process and have now pretty much taken it over. As soon as I place one order, I’m starting to put more items in my shopping cart for the next order. I’ve liked pretty much every product I’ve tried and haven’t been disappointed about their effectiveness. We’ve been customers for a year now and I don’t think that I’ll ever shop anywhere else. I feel much better about having environmentally safe products in my home and don’t have to worry about my children getting harmed by dangerous chemicals. My 2 year old daughter, Vivian, likes to help me clean and I don’t have to worry about the cleaners.
David has been involved in the business building aspect, but I haven’t been interested in helping, until now. I decided that if I really like this brand, other people probably would too. I just need to give them a chance to try it out. So, my goal is to share some of my experiences and opinions about the products that I have been using this past year. I will be posting product reviews of some of my favorite or not-so-favorite products. I hope you enjoy and if you are interested in trying some of these great products, please let me know.
Ha, Ha! How fun! The products are good, therefore people like them. Makes sense. Glad the wife gave them a try. How can you know if you don't try something out??
ReplyDeleteThis is a good story illustrating how someone can get involved in a good company with good products, either as a member (to use the products and get them at a fine discount) or as a business (to share the company and products with others, and get paid for it).
